Q: What happens if it’s bad weather on shoot day?
Q: do you shoot on location? Are there extra fees for travel?
Q: How can I pay, and when is THE deposit due?
Good question! Weather is unpredictable. If we have an outdoor session and weather becomes a concern (rain, extreme heat, storms, etc.), we’ll either reschedule or move to a backup indoor location (if one is arranged). We’ll always aim to let you know as early as possible so we can adjust plans smoothly.
Yes - We love shooting on location! We're based in Durham, ON, and travel within 15 kms of the 401/412 is included. For locations outside that radius, there may be a travel fee (transportation, accommodation if needed, etc.). Let’s chat to figure out what location you have in mind and we'll send you a free quote.
We currently accept payment in two parts via e-transfer. To secure your shoot date, a non‑refundable deposit of 50% is required at booking. The balance is due promptly on delivery of final images (24 hrs). We'll lay all this out in your quote/contract so everything is clear and there is no confusion about bookings & cancellations.
 
Q: How long will it take to get my photos?
 
After the shoot, We'll send you a preview (or “sneak peek”) within 48 hours so you can see some of the images. The full gallery will usually be delivered within 5-7 business days, depending on how busy the schedule is and how many images there are. Need them faster? Just ask - We can sometimes offer rush delivery.
 
Q: Do you help with posing? I don't know what to do!
 
Absolutely - you’re not alone! Most people feel a bit awkward at first. Part of what we do is guide you in posing, help with natural movement, suggest what feels comfortable, and capture moments that reflect who you are. Our goal is for you to feel relaxed and for the photos to feel authentic, not forced.
 
Q: What’s included in the cost? What do I get?
 
Our packages typically include: pre‑shoot consultation (to go over your ideas, style, location, etc.), the shoot itself (x hours or y look changes, depending on the package), post‑processing/retouching of the images, and delivery of the final digital files via an online gallery. Additional options like prints, physical albums, travel fees, extra edits, etc., can be added as needed.
